Wildflower Quilt Guild

The Wildflower Quilt Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art of quilting and providing an opportunity for sharing ideas and learning new techniques.

Membership is open to anyone interested in quilts or quilting and runs from January through December.  Annual dues are $30.00, with special rates for Juniors. Benefits awarded to our members include:

  • Monthly newsletter
  • Access to the Guild's lending library
  • Door prizes
  • Quilt challenges
  • Secret pal gift exchange
  • Charm square exchange
  • Block of the month drawings
  • Special events

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.  Starting in April, 2014, our meetings will be held at First United Methodist Church - 102 North 2nd Street - Temple, TX.  Our meetings start with a social gathering at 6:30 p.m., followed by the "official" meeting at 7:00 p.m. The monthly meetings always include a "show and tell" (guild members show the quilts and projects they have worked on), a brief business meeting and a presentation/trunk show by local and/or well known published quilting experts. Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings before deciding to join.
